What we do
Tell us what you have now and what you need, whether it’s a new build or an old system that’s had enough, and Matt will come out, take a look and give you a straight answer and a fair quote.
Tight spot? This Eljen system went in with inches to spare: with limited access and very little room to work, careful planning and the right equipment made it all come together.
- New septic installs, including Eljen systems
- Replacing old systems
- Tanks, chambers and the bed set to grade
- Yard put back when the work is done

What customers say
We have used Matt’s services 2x. Our front steps turned out to be more than we expected and the fact that he also worked out our septic, and the way it was done was another added bonus.
After several local contractors came out to look at our project and never submitted quotes, we met Matt from SMG Excavating. He looked at the project and promptly provided a reasonable quote. Matt & Scott’s attention to detail was excellent and they made sure that we were happy with the final results. We were also impressed with their communication with us throughout the project and provided us with regular updates. We were very appreciative of their help through the permit process and ensuring all required permits were received on time. We highly recommend Matt & Scott from SMG Excavating for your next project and have already referred family and friends to them.
My first choice for all our needs, I will definitely be hiring them again!! They do great work.
