An eroding shoreline only gets worse. Armour stone along the water holds the bank in place, and stone steps make it easy and safe to get down to the dock.
We look at the whole slope, too: regrading so rain runs where it should makes the property drier and easier to use.

An eroded shoreline required immediate intervention to prevent further damage and enhance usability. Armour stone was installed to reinforce the shoreline’s stability, complemented by newly crafted stone steps for improved accessibility. The entire property underwent strategic regrading to optimize drainage and create a more practical and visually appealing landscape.

We had our wood retaining walls for the walkout dugout and replaced with rock walls by SMG Excavating. We had 5 companies come in and give us a quote. The end result was exactly what we were after. What was impressive was the care given to how every rock was placed/cut to fit with the next one. Scott is amazing at this. It also helps that these 2 are just down to earth decent guys who want to do the best job they can. In the end every bit was cleaned up, re-graded and well seeded. Cant say enough about how happy we are with the work they did. Amazing guys keep up the good work and attitudes and just know it was greatly appreciated.
Matt did a small job at our cottage digging out parking spaces and leveling the existing parking area. Gave a fair and honest price and showed up when he said he would. He got more work done in the time we agreed so he exceeded expectations. Other people who quoted the job tried to say there was way more work involved and were not honest about it.
